My BX2230 will not shut off with the key or any of the safety devices (seat switch ... etc) Looking for suggestion of where to start to trouble shoot. This happened a few days ago and I had to disconnect the fuel line to get it to shut off

I have a 2006 BX2230 that starts to spit and sputter when I put the range selector in gear. The tractor will sit and idle as long as I want. As soon as I go to move it starts stalling. Restarts every time (so far). The fuel has anti-gel and conditioner in it. I think it is a electrical issue...
