Help required with wheel & tyre size/fitment.

I'm able to manage enough traction with a set of 4 link tire chains on my B6000E (2wd & turf tires) for snow blowing. The differential lock seems to get out of trouble every time one wheel looses the grip on ice. I'm thinking about a weight box mounted on the draw bar for next winter on help...

Does the B8200 4WD have a lagging Front/Rear setup or negative slippage?

The following are 3 thoughts (me thinking out loud) however feel free to comment. 1) I got my operator's manual from my local dealer. It does say 24x8.5-12. Could there be a change in tire specs somewhere along the years? The back of my manual says "reprinted october 2003" After researching...

    Tire chains

Hi Skeets, What type of tires do you have? If you have ag tires, you need the more expensive chains which will keep the crossover chains on top of the tire lugs. I bought some basic chains for my B6000 and the crossovers just settle down in between the lugs. Totally useless.

Great info guys, but this is my 'sneeky' tractor used to get into small places, so I paid a small price for it.... needless to say this is getting way to complicated just to load up a new set of more appropriate tires.... I'm getting real tempted to get the front tires in the rib as suggested...

...if you've seen that or not, available here: http://www.orangetractortalks.com/2009/01/how-to-clear-snow-with-a-snow-blade/ Regarding tire chains, yes, Kubota does make those available. Check your local dealership - if you are in Red Deer that would be "Key AgVentures" ph: 403-343-6112...

    Extra traction advise?

New to the site but read your articles on ballasting and tire chains. Where i'm at now there's lots of snow (~2ft+) and blading the driveway i'm slipping a lot. Considering getting either tire chains or ballasting. I see pictures of guys that just have chains on the front tires, is that enough...
