Re: L2501, slopes, and sanity-check

I agree with DCat, I couldn't make it through more than a few lines of these waaay too wordy posts, and we always skip over when the post is arguing with advice received.

Here is some real world...

Re: L2501, slopes, and sanity-check

The L2501 wonít pull hills very well. MX much more stable than an L.

Most of that sounds too steep to fool with trying to mow it. You could just let it grow up and run a mulcher on it every 5...

Re: Model Year and does it matter?

The model year is the year you buy it new, but there is no real model year like a car

Re: Utah - L2501 4WD HST Pricing

No dealer links since they can***8217;t advertise prices like that. Check any dealers in north Alabama or north Georgia for lower pricing but you are a long way away. There is a recent post on here...

Re: Ky Kubota L2501 Pricing

That is a decent price- did it include tax? a new l2501 here, SSQA loader, filled R4 tires is about $17,500 plus any tax.

We looked at the L4701 for a nanosecond and realized the MX is a better...

Re: MX5800 being replaced by MX6000?

Any interesting news from the annual meeting? I don't need a new MX model to enter the back of the mind!

Re: Cutting 26 gauge galvanized sheet metal

This is how we cut them lengthwise- razor knife and snap them. Crosscuts, use power metal shears or a nibbler

Re: 2010 mx 4700

I would offer $20,000 for it. The leak is easy to figure out if you can get it cleaned up first. We had a similar area leak that was from a loose/bent inlet pipe on the low pressure side

Re: 2380 with 1.5 hours spewing hydraulic fluid. Need to figure out how to add more

Go ahead and get some Super UDT2 to have on hand, stuff happens and its nice to not have to run to the dealer. We keep 5 gallons at each property

Re: New Kubota L2501 ordered

the L2501 does not have enough PTO horsepower to run a 6 foot mower. Need at least 30 HP (5 per mower foot). Underpowered mower is a pain in the ass- we learned this trying to run a 5 foot mower...

Re: New to tractors and need help deciding

that is basically what the dealer said when we were first looking at new tractors. B series for mid mount mower/pto or if you need smaller frame; otherwise standard L

Re: Rotary cutter for a B2650

we have to back over things to cut them down and cut field edges and a flail can't cut in reverse. We have both an LP 1860 and 1872 and they have been quite durable, and we are hard on things

Re: Charge delivery pipe 2 issue Hst hydraulics

that won't work, just replace the pipe. The part is not expensive.

We bent the inlet pipe on our MX and it was only $45 for the part and an hour of work

Re: Rear View Mirror?

we use golf cart mirrors attached to the canopy, mostly to see if there are vehicles behind us on the road so we can let them pass

Re: Rotary cutter for a B2650

LP1860 is a good medium duty mower and reasonably priced, so there is no after market brand equivalent that would save a bunch of money.

Re: B2301 Promo Pricing until 12/31/19 - Thoughts?

I wouldn't let financing offers influence buying what you need. Companies use them to move slower selling models, so the ones with fewer financing deals are probably selling better
