Re: Shut tractor off and won't turn over

Unless it's just a simple bad battery I'd say it's a safety switch.

Re: Kubota M95 Hydraulic's no power at Idle

I'd say you have something going on. My L3000 will pick up round bales at just above low idle.

When was it service last?

What fluid and filters?

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40

Flip, my wheels are factory (1989 model) but it didn't hardly get used by original owner. He only baled about 400 bales with it in 5 or 6 years. Second owner only did about 800. Can't remember when I...

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40

I do what I can buddy.

My first thought was something along the lines of a third cousin from Alabama but figured the meth comment would get my point across. :D

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40

I use the 10w30 small engine oil in my lawn mower. ASE1G-EA is the number for a gallon jug and dealer cost is $27.40. To be honest I don't use this mower often because for one I hate it and two I...

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40

I need to put new hay saver wheels on my baler to. Mine are just simply worn out but it's just about $250 to replace them. One on the left side looks like it's on meth, only has 2 teeth left.

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40

Not cooler as in actually running colder that the thermostat will allow.

I'm talking about in the field with trash covering your radiator screen. It will run cooler because Amsoil will dissipate...

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40

It'll be interesting to see the difference.

Don't know if there's any point to putting it on here though. Seems like anything lubricant related that isn't sold at Walmart can't possible work.

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40

No, I don't think they would. Most all vehicles now days are basically disposable. Why would they want you to use something that would extend life? Why would they want you to use something that would...

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40

Still doing hay so I'm to tired to search. But I can give you a real world number from today. I baled for 8 hrs. Total run time was more like 9 hrs but actual field time was 8. I burned 11 gallons...

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40

All I can say to that is you should try it for yourself. I've seen as much as 3 mpg gain just with engine oil.

I was using Mobil1 10w30 and switched to Amsoil 10w30. I ended up changing trans,...

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40

At 10 gallons a year about anything would work.

T6 does okay if you don't mind the smell.

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40

If you use it much you'll loose more in fuel economy than what you save. Can't beat Amsoil products.

Re: LA 481 loader problem

What does it do if you leave the 3pt lowered? Sometimes the feedback rod is out of adjustment and will keep the loader from working properly.

Re: LA 481 loader problem

Have you checked the couplers for the loader. May have one partially unhooked.

You said you've been in the woods. Have you checked under the tractor and inspected hyd lines? I'd look close at the...

Re: Transmission lube question (non-HST)

Like Wolfman said stay away from the cheap fluid. The few dollars you save could cost you thousands in repairs. To me it's just not worth it.

Re: Kubota grease

I use the Amsoil moly grease in everything. Stays much better than a multi purpose grease does.

Re: For Cleaner Air on L Series

When you put the filters in do a slight circular rocking motion. Not twisting but rock the filter just a little as you push it in. You can feel it seat when you do this.

Re: Trailering Tractor with Forward Facing Exhaust. Issues?

I know the company that did our heavy hauling used turbo savers or duct tape. Nothing left on a trailer without the exhaust being covered with one or the other.

Re: M9960 brake question

Just curious but what kind of hyd fluid are you using?

Wet brakes can be ruined with the wrong type fluid.

I wouldn't think this is a common problem with any brand but I do plan to send the pictures to Bush Whacker to see what they say. If I was a big company like that I would want to hear about those...
