Re: COVID-19 Stuff

Let's not get into an offshoot of what's right or what's wrong. ;)

One thing is you can not even compare this to the normal flu virus, it's not even in the same ballpark!

Re: B7100 Diesel - Late 1980's - Need Maintenance Help

The chances of it running without some fuel system work are going to be low.

Turn the engine all the way around by hand to make sure it's not seized up.

Re: MX4700 Low Power/Wont Move

There are 3 versions of the MX4700, Two are gear shift (DT and F), one HST (hydrostatic).

It really sounding that you have a DT or and F and you have a fried clutch disk, rather odd for that low...

Re: Install of water temp gauge - L245DT

Not the in line (bottom) but the out line (top) radiator hose is where you put it. ;)

Bottom will give you a false reading, as it will give you a cooled reading.

Re: B6200D Issues

Your hydraulic pump is driven by the back of the fuel cam.
so when the main shaft seal goes out it forces oil into the engine.

PoTreeBoy, was referring to the fuel lift pump which is just below...

Re: LA525 loader rams

lugbolt might be onto something, because the cylinders are used in tandem, one piston being damaged could cause some weird effects.

Do like he said and pull the pins and see if one cylinder reacts...

Re: Maybe try this

Yea drink it, or use it to decontaminate everything within your reach, but keep it out of the hydraulic sump, no good could come of that! :D

Re: L4200DT strange noise coming out of pump line lift not working

Normally noise out of the pump and something not working means that the pump is cavitating and not moving fluid.
Suction leak, line issue, or possibly pump issue.

Re: Hydraulics help Kubota b2410

The cap above the center link would be a good choice, that will dump fluid right back into the case.

I don't know what that block is for, it looks to be both pressure and possibly a return but I...

Re: Hydraulic line plugs for B2400

I will also note:
That any hydraulic line (hard or soft) that could or would flow fluid in the event of a failure, you can not cap and run, it's an open hydraulic system and doing so will damage...

Re: Bent bucket . . . fixable?

Get a big hammer! :D

You can straighten them out with a careful use of a big timber, chain and a hydraulic jack.
Timber on top of bucket, chain around the bow and over top hydraulic jack that's...

Re: Idaho Earthquake

Yea 6.5, a whopper!
No reports of any damage so that's good.

I'll tell you what though, it was 380 some odd miles away from me and we felt it big time!
That was one heck of a shake!
A little......

Re: Hydraulic line plugs for B2400

Not worth the time and trouble to try and figure out, what if scenarios.

If it's got worn lines replace them.

Lines only flow fluid while it's running and or a valve is engaged, if you blow a...

Re: B1700 HSD - irregular cranking.

Adding a relay will not make a dead solenoid magicly work.
The solenoid on the starter does far more than just make an electrical contact happen.

But doesn't sound like you want to hear it, so...

Re: f2400 snowblower

You understand it incorrectly, your F2400 has a 2 speed PTO 1000 RPM and 2500 RPM, neither will run a three point blower directly which requires a 540 RPM input.

You could get a front mount blower...

Re: Too much oil!

You might want to keep and eye on the level, if it's blown the seal on the hydraulic pump, it will move hydraulic fluid into the engine oil making it over fill.

Re: Water in Hydraulic Fluid

OH NO! Doing that would destroy every seal in the transmission, internally and externally.

I get where your thinking was going, but it simply won't work on these. ;)

Re: B6200D Issues

I'll second what Russell said, a lot of injectors (like 99%) of them off amazon, ebay and a bunch of other sources are just bad from the beginning.

I only use true OEM, and Oregon Fuel Injection...

Re: B3200 No Start Just One Click

The small wire coming off the starter can be disregarded, it's used in different models to output a signal to the run solenoid.

I think you better try and turn the engine by hand, if it wont turn...

Re: LA525 loader rams

That is some serious air getting into it.

I don't think it's a internal seal issue, I think it's a FEL spool valve problem.
