I have a 2023 BX2380-AU. The manual says to flush and replace coolant every 2 years. Is this really necessary (and what is the risk of extending this on a low hr tractor)

I know what I am "supposed to do".....BUT......

I'm running on year 4, and still haven't done mine.

It's one of those things that is so low on my "priority list", it just never seems to get done.

I know...I know....I'm the only one who procrastinates...blah...blah...

maybe I'll get to it this week....;);):cautious::cautious:🤫

EDIT: BTW the primary risk is "corrosion" I think......and premature failure of the water pump????

Routine coolant replacement is important for long term durability of cooling system components.

Though the freeze protection properties of anti freeze last indefinitely, the corrosion protection properties do not.

For long term protection replace coolant in accordance with the recommendations in your Operator's Manual. DO NOT flush with chemical radiator flush products. Simply flush with distilled water and replace as much coolant as possible with new anti freeze and distilled water. DO NOT use tap water.

Probably can extend coolant life to 4 years or so once you have replaced existing coolant with modern extended life anti freeze.
