That’s just crazy cool, Bill! Those small parts on a mill are the most challenging IMHO.

Scored again.... nearby thrift shop does a dollar day sale the last Sunday of the month.... every item is $1, no matter what.
Got a solid carbide burr, a 5/16" 5C collet, a 1/2" R8 collet,, a 3/16" R8 collet,, a #3JT R8 arbor, a 1" R8 shell mill arbor, and a 1"-8 thread plug gage.
All items were normally $5-$10 each.
Plug gage is like new, the rest are new.

Nice job!I often do jobs where I have to swing the head over & hang parts off the table.
(1st pic)
Whenever I do, I have bumped my noggin on the DRO shelf/arm 11teen times over the years.
The DRO sits on an aluminum bar bolted to the ram, and pivots back & forth.
(2nd pic)
I checked the stock/parts stash and came up with this.
I screwed a 3/4-10 threaded rod into the ram & locked it with a nut.
I then took a 4 1/2" diameter piece of Lexan, faced one end, drilled it thru with a 3/4" hole, and counterbored it to clear the nut.
Then I faced the other end, counterbored that end to recess another nut.
Added a thin polypro washer, the aluminum bar, another thin polypro washer, and a Nyloc nut.
This will give me another 7 1/2" of cranium clearance.
Everything was on hand except the Nyloc nut.
