I'm a little confused. Do you mean offset it like just center it more to one side of the tractor?
In that case, the only issue I see is a slight but more stress on the U joints but the main hindrance to that is the 3 pt arms rubbing the inside of the rear tire. Not sure how wide your tires are set apart.

Yes I do on much larger tractor though.
It's easy and done all the time. Just find a suitable offset / side arm mower arm that matches your tractor and cutter.
You're going to be very limited due to the size of your tractor though. I think titan makes one for the bx.

I think the PTO shaft length could be an issue. They make pull behind mowers that offset. I think I would look into getting one of those to offset. Fwiw, I have one but rarely offset it to pull behind my Polaris Ranger.

I have looked at a 3pt offset flail mower, however I just don't have that much to do to justify the expense.
I will definitely look at the pto shaft length issue. I have offset my box blade before, and yes the tire rub issue is something to keep and eye on.
