I am rebuilding a RCK60D-26BX gearbox because the vertical shaft has play from side to side and is wearing the pulley as well as throwing the belt. I have the gear box off the mower deck and have removed the top cap, bottom seal, horizontal seal, and horizontal c-clip. I do not understand how to remove the shafts. All of the videos i could find show another hole in the case opposite of the PTO shaft that they use to remove the horizontal shaft but that does not exist in the RCK60D-26BX gearbox. There is another c-clip on the top of the vertical shaft holding it in place but I cannot get to it with out taking the horizontal shaft out first. Any advice?
