I just started using the 3 point Hydrolic on my B2410 with a bush hog mower. works only @ number 7/8 & lifts only 8-9 inch. Any idea what could cause it?
Thanks a lot.

Try using the top holes in the lift rods. If this doesn't give you enough lift, put the pins in the holes nearest the tractor in the lower arms. This will give you maximum height, with some decrease in weight capacity.

For lifting the back end of the mower higher you can try using the bottom hole (at the tractor) for the top link. You can shorten the top link to also increase the lift BUT don’t operate the mower when the top link is short or you could damage the tractor or the mower.

Also kinda depends on how your mower is configured. The John Deere/Woods mower combo I use to brush hog only picks up about 10-12 inches, using only the top half of the lever positions.

The top link does play a big part as well, but there's only so much adjustment to do with it that will not adversely affect your mowing performance.
