Help please! My L47 ran out of fuel (I think) and now it’s acting like the battery is dead!

My low fuel light came on Saturday, usually I work for another 20 minutes or more before turning the machine off and getting fuel. I was grading some piles of fill with my tractor when the light came on, I knew I needed fuel soon and was going to call it a day. I jumped off my tractor to pick up a few sticks and stones and when I went back to jump on the tractor the engine wasn’t running, the key was still in the on position so I turned it off. I returned to the site today, put 5 gallons of fresh diesel in it and was ready to bleed the fuel line if necessary. I tried starting the tractor but the display screen didn’t come on and of course it didn’t turn over, so I thought I drained the battery when it ran out of fuel and the key was still in the on position. I got my new jumper pack in my truck and that wouldn’t jump it or even get the display screen to turn on.
( yes my jumper pack was charged and works great, even starting my 1 ton dump truck when the battery is dead)
I left the jumper hooked up to the battery for a while and kept trying to start my tractor every 5 minutes or so but the display screen still would come on and nothing turned over. I went thru all the fuses, even the big ones in a different location by the starter and they all looked good. The battery hook ups aren’t corroded and everything’s tight and clean to the battery. I’m going to go get my volt meter now and go from there. If anyone has any suggestions PLEASE let me know!!!
I called the dealer and went thru everything with the head service manager and he’s boggled as well!

What kind of jumper pack are you using? I've seen some of the fancy new ones default off when they don't see any voltage. Get a set of jumper cables and attach to your pickup.

I kinda doubt the battery died if you only left the key in the on position for a few minutes while off the tractor like you say.

I'd start by checking battery voltage, and maybe check over cables, terminals and grounds as well. My terminals looked fine but no voltage getting to the key, I had to disassemble the battery terminals and found a tiny bit of corrosion that wasn't visible before. That's all it took.

There's probably something obvious I'm overlooking, there are many folks here smarter than me to follow.

I do not 100% understand what your tractor is currently doing but the fact that it shut down while you were off of it could be some safety switch telling the tractor there is no one in the seat, the PTO is on, or whatever else the safety switches control.

So if the dash and headlights will show electrical power but the starter is not cranking the engine I would look into the safety switches.

Things can look good when in fact they can be corroded and not visible.
That is the only way of finding the problem because there's 20 possibilities.
