Anyone have factory 3rd function on M6040/606, 7040/7060 ?

if so could you post a couple of pictures of the valve and its mounting location etc please.
Ive yet to find anyone who has this option installed.

I have one on my M6040. It’s located down by the loader valve assembly. It might be a few days to get any pictures though.

Most everyone that I’ve seen for sale has a 3rd function? Must be area dependent. We’re both in Alabama?

Ive got someone who has a 3rd function valve they say is supposed to fit the 6040/7040 series i can basically get for free.
My parts manual does not show the location, piping, bracketry etc for 3rd function.
ive ordered a loader parts manual to see if it shows it on there.

just trying to figure out what all would need to install this valve so i could use my grapple properly without running it off the rear remote.

i keyword searched his kubota inventory with keyword 3rd function and found nothing?
Did the one you found have good picture showing the valve?

I mean he only has 4 M series. Sometimes searching more gets less. If that makes sense.

You’re not going to find pictures of what you need from a sales ad. At most it will be a picture of the loader joystick showing the buttons or the hydraulic connections on the loader.
Probably best bet is to look at one in person and get pictures of it, and follow the hose routing etc.

yeah been unsuccessful at that. I went to 2 kubota dealers lots withen the last month and walked their yard and didnt see any with one.
thats why was hoping someone here had one to take pics of.
Looks like it may be shown in the loader manual i ordered. We will see.

The plumbing to hook the OEM 3rd function valve into the tractor hydraulics is just three hoses.The rest is loader specific. Its really a simple addon.

More importantly ask your source for some pictures of what they have.

On my 2007 M9540 the third function diverter valve is located behind a black plastic cover in between the loader arms.
