I am finding sometimes I need to grab the dipper cylinder to steady getting on and off when I am on a slope etc.
Doing some work the other day made me think it would be nice to have a handle I could put my hand around not that slippery 3" plus cylinder.

So a couple of e-bay 3" exhaust clamps, a piece of angle painted non Kubota gray and a shower/handicap handle came together.
The cylinder is actually a little bigger than 3" but with some longer bolts necessary for the angle attachment I made it work.

Picture or it didn't happen?
This is where I am working that a handle started making sense.
I put a 40' x 12' addition on the side of the shop mainly to store my firewood.
I should have done more grade work first. I am on a slope here and that string is to give me a reference to where I want to stay behind so I don't smash the wall with my swing.
I'm trying to dig along there to put in some of that 4" perforated drainage tile and then some stone.
I found with it aimed downhill it is just a pain to get off and on.
