RCK54-29B deck to RCK60-32 deck

I have a 2014 B2620 with the 54" RCK54-29B mid-mount deck. It works great, but I mow around 4 acres and have a few trees to trim near. A 60" deck would've been my choice if I bought the tractor new, but I bought it used from a family member a few years ago. I've been seeing a few decks on Marketplace for the B2601, and was wondering the compatibility. I've searched the forums and have found a few posts regarding the lift brackets being different between the 2620/2601 tractors, but the 60" decks having similar attachment points. Could I buy a 60" RCK60-32 and use my RCK54-29B lift brackets on my machine?

The posts I've seen seem to reference fitting the lift brackets and deck from one tractor to another that doesn't have the deck or the brackets, but not just swapping a deck to one that already has mower lift brackets. The mounting points look similar but without driving to someone's house on marketplace to measure it is difficult to tell. Anyone done this before or know what the differences are?

Using a 60 inch mower vs a 54 inch mower is only going to save you about 15 minutes.

If your objective is to reduce your time spent mowing, I would suggest finding a zero turn mower. They mow faster and are more maneuverable than a tractor.

The RCK60-29B is listed as a fit for the B2620.

RCK60-32 is listed as fitting the newer B2601. Without measuring I don't know if it would fit your B2620. Maybe someone else here will know.

Thanks, yeah I wasn't really thinking it would be much of a time savings, but figured the 60" will stick out further on each side and be better for trimming around all the trees and gardens. Maybe cutting down the trees and turning the landscape gardens into grass is a better idea.
