Stumbled onto this picture I shot from the bucket truck on loan to spray Liquid 7 on the linden tree out back. The Liquid 7 didn't work so great. Not sure if the problem was frequent rain or if it simply wasn't the best application for it. This was before discovering the systemic pesticide that has worked very well in recent years.
The Japanese beetles attacked it from the top down. It often seemed like maybe THIS was the year Liquid 7 was working. Then one morning I'd look out of the bathroom window and see that they'd started turning the top of the leafy green tree to brown lace.
