Hi. Wanted to pose this question to see if anyone has some advice before I bring the tractor to the repair shop. I have an L4760 with a LA1055 loader. I have had zero issues with the tractor till the other day. Hopefully, I can describe the symptoms. This happened after moving some field rocks around with a pallet fork. The issue is with the dump. Controller is a curl-neutral-dump-fast dump (don’t know what else to call that second dump). What is happening is that when I go to dump, there seems to be a point about halfway between the first dump controller, where the flow seems to be getting blocked. I can go back to neutral and start moving the controller to dump, and it's ok till about that halfway point. Then it acts like something is restricting the flow. I can go all the way to the second dump with no flow issues. FEL up and down works fine. The curl function works fine. That second dump (all the way to the right on the controller) is fine. One other item that I noticed is when I try to operate the up/down on the loader while in the first dump mode, when the “restriction” is happening the up/down will act the same way until I go back to Neural or fast dump on the bucket. Then there is no issue with the up/down

I do have some newer QC coming as that seems to be a common issue. Also, moving around the 3-point doesn’t seem to affect it.

Any suggestions?

Those are pretty clear symptims.

If you hsve the functions in the correct order here is what I think is happening
  1. In the first dump position the spool sends exhaust oil to tank and thats blocked - e.g. bsd coupler or connection
  2. In the second dump position tank is not used and oil circulates internally. Dump works fine.
  3. When you activate the boom alone tank is not used and boom works fine
  4. When you activate boom and first dump the dump is blocked and that blocks the upstream boom
  5. When you activate boom and fast dump the tank is not used and boom and dump both work.
So in summary check your return to tank.connection

Is it possible you “tweaked” something that is binding up now?

I say this cause I have ‘bent” a few of my tines, on my grapple, moving those damn rocks…..

Not an "apple to apple" comparison, but…..

Just a suggestion 🤷‍♂️

This type of behavior is common on Kubota tractors. You can usually narrow it down with thoughtful analysis of the loader functions.

Dan
I agree here with Hokie, the first "section" of my B2650 dump lever "free dumps" until the lever hits the indent, then the bucket stops up until the indent is overcome. Past the indent the bucket goes into "controlled dump" mode with full control of position and power of dumping.
So with it in second or furthest lever motion mode past the indent, I can then use the bucket dump action to raise the front of the tractor and hold it there.

**update** I received today new quick connects for the L4760 and the problem is solved. In fact, the loader and bucket seemed to cycle much faster (or I'm just happy to have it working again). Thanks for everyone's suggestions.
