So my BX 23 is in need of new front tires. What’s everyone using as a replacement or is it ideal to use what came stock? Seems to me the stockers wore out fairly quickly (350 hrs)

My foam filled R4s wore bald in about 100 hours. Although I am working on land that is like 20 grit sandpaper from hell.

The original front turf tires on by BX2370 are approaching 900 hrs with plenty of tread left. Are you spending too much time in four wheel drive making turns on pavement to have that much wear?

Go to the dealership sales department (NOT parts department) and have them order you a new pair of front wheels and tires. Sadly it's cheaper to do this than buy/mount the tires by themselves usually. The pair usually runs $160-$200, depending if you're turf, R4, etc.

I'm almost never on asphalt. Often times gravel. Mostly grass/dirt. There is some tread left but the sidewalls are showing weakness and one of has a leak that is a PITA. I wanted to get it squared away prior to winter.

That’s great advice. I’ll call them tomorrow

Before you go to the dealership and buy wheels/tires through the Sales Department, (Whole Goods)
look at Amazon.com and compare pricing.
I found R1 AG style there for less than the dealership Whole Foods pricing.
Also with free Prime shipping.

I'm on my 3rd set of fronts with 1500hrs on the clock , a LOT of pavement time.
There's a KENDA brand K514 ? that should fit, more plies and great weight capacity
NOT available in Canada and I can't order from AmazonUSA and have delivered in USA,which is really, really stupid. OK, IF I play tricks with the computer I can but WHY should I have to ??

The dealer for wheels (tires and rims) is strangely a great option, the same with oil and filters.

The bigger question is what type of tire? There are a few tire threads that explain the differences, and maybe it makes sense to get a complete set for around $820, and perhaps then replace the current worn fronts with new rubber in your free time given you would have a set of winter wheels. I have lawn, industrial, and half a set of agricultural (working on getting the other half). Lawn are great in the lawn though really slick on mossy hills. Industrial are grippy in the lawn but will dimple it (depending) and are a bit slick on wet leaf covered hills. When Kubota ships the fronts and I get my hydraulics completed I'll have a better idea of how grippy the AG tires are.

I’ll look into the Kendas. I believe this little tractor could benefit from some front tires with more plies. Partially why I’m replacing them.

Whatever replacement fronts you get, have inner tubes installed in them. I got SO tired of slow leaks (usually nails/metal sharpies) so had inner tubes installed. Haven't had to top up one since. I did that at about 500 hours, she's got 1200 hours on the clock now.
Gravel, mud, sand, ice, rocks, granite shield. They see a real mix.

When I had two pop on the sidewall in one week. I only foam fill the fronts now. I never have to worry about a flat. My problem is the sandpaper I drive on. My tires in less than one year:

wow... I sure live in a sheltered world as i would have never imagined such quick wear.
On our fields, yards and woodlot I would expect 3,000 hrs +/-. They normally die from stick and other hazard damage before wearing out. My head is still in amazement wear in such few hours. Its like replacing tires every couple of months. just wow......

Would you consider a high wear tire like a F3?? or maybe one of CEAT's hard surface tires?

NH was ONE giant rock. MO is one trillion littler rocks (per sqft)
Mine don't wear like that ... I must live kinda near you (based on the CL ad), I'm in Marshfield ...

I did get some sidewall damage, and had a few tread punctures, my fronts had WWF in them, makes leaks easy to see! 😂 This was about 385 hours ...

I replaced the fronts with these ... And had them treated with http://www.texasrefinery.com/products/specialty-products/tireseal cost me $10 per tire.

Much tougher than originals ... No squatting under load!

While I have a lot more grass covered rocks ... I do have rocks ...

About 760 hours now, and not showing hardly any tread wear ...

Those are some beefy looking tires. Wish I seen that first.
