I need some help understanding the hi-lited sentence regarding the removal of the liquid ballast in cabbed tractors. Copied from an earlier post above:

Yeah I didn't get it either. That's why I highlighted it. You know people have no way to add and remove liquid ballast to use the loader.

On another note I used my loader some the other day with no extra ballast on the rear and the tractor didn't feel tipsy with a full bucket of wet clay in it.

It is sorta confusing. I could see the cab weight taking place of ballast (although it changes your center of gravity). But not what it has to do with a loader being on.

This comes up from time to time. Can only add that the statement about loaded tires and backhoes has been in Kubota manuals for more than 20 years. Dealer told me it was because the ROPS was only designed to prevent a full rollover up to a certain amount of weight. So it was a warning for liability purposes.

Does the same apply to this more recent warning for cab tractors with loaders? Can't say, but it might be.

My information is very old. It would be great if someone currently buying from a helpful dealer could ask.

Glycol? Never. One is toxic and the other isn't polite to the ground when it leaks. Beet juice is the common choice. If leaked, the ground says thanks.
