Has anyone experienced grass blowing out of the left front area of the RCK48P- 400Z deck. My mower deck blows an extreme amount of grass out of the left front to the point where the mower and myself are covered. When cleaning the deck and swapping blades, I noticed a large cutout in the removable left deck baffle. Kubota engineering told me that this cutout is there to allow airflow into the deck. They also said that my deck was most likely not level. This isn’t my first zero turn or commercial mower, so I am pretty sure I know how to level the deck. So after many conversations with Kubota, i gave up and fabricated a block off plate to cover the cutout and no more blowing grass. Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me.

I have a Z422 54” deck (4 years now) and have experienced nothing like that. Of course, if you’re blowing cuttings into the wind, yes, machine and I get doused! 
Interesting, I wonder if the Z422 uses the same version deck. This cutout is above the blades, essentially creating a second deck chute.
I only brought this up because the snow around my shed has melted allowing me access to the mower so that i can get ready for spring.
