Mine did the same thing, dealer had never seen it before, so they gave me a healthy credit on my account,said 'out of warranty.Neighbour ,who owns a big weld/fab shop repaired it for me next day. I've tried my best to destroy it since then. Probably 700 hours of heavy loader use. My BX23S is a 2018 unit.

My FEL broke today. 2022 LA340 on a BX23s I'm no professional welder but, something just don't seem right. One side broke completely, the other is ready to be completely broken.www.orangetractortalks.com
Nope, had a guy weld it and it broke again. Have another guy lined up to give it a shot. maybe in the next couple weeks
Thats BS. Thats a safety issue. Can you imagine lifting max lbs and its naps. that would be a catastrophic accident. I would be demanding a new FEL as yours is definitely defective.
It wasn't ' catastrophic' for me, wonky yes ,but no damage..other than the cross tube no longer being welded to the tight loader arm.
