Voltage regulator for L1500

Hello all, I have 70's vintage L1500 with a blown voltage regulator. It's a nippondenso unit
with 3 lugs -
part number is 026000-2210
Can't seem to find one on the Internet

Anyone know a source for this quaint unit?
anyone have one rattling around in a drawer?

The one for the L175 should be the same, Messicks has it in stock; HERE

15221-64600 ASSY REGULATOR 1 <=10454 (serial number) This one does not cross to anything
33251-74012 ASSY REGULATOR 1 >-10455 (serial number) This one crosses to 70000-65398

does yours not have a 6 pin plug like this......

I got one from John's Auto electric in St. Michael mN. If you need to punt, you could call them and see if they'll ship.

This unit was straight up out of Japan hand built in a bamboo shed in a rice paddy
all my stickers are in Japanese and the electronics are all unique maybe I could adapt a l175 unit if I knew which wires to use

I don't know whether the L175 regulator fits or not. I know that the alternator has a different connector. Mind didn't charge when I got it. The regulator was fried. The alternator worked, but the bearings were going out, so I got a new regulator and had the alternator rebuilt. If I were going to do it again, I'd convert it to a single wire alternator. In addition to making a simpler system, it would have gone from 15 to 40 amps.

I'd really need to see the wiring diagram but from the picture only 3 connections so a real simple unit, might be a relay, probably low current( <15 amps) ?

I would take it to an alternator repair shop and see if they can repair it or replace it with a new one.

It's the regulator. That being said an alternator shop found a regulator for me.

I was responding to the original poster and his need for the older style regulator.

I get it now. If I'm remembering correctly mine wasn't rebuidable. It's been almost 10 years though.
