Greetings: My Kubota L4701 (47 HPP) is supposed to be able run a mower that is 72" wide & weighs 880#. The BH216 is 72" and weighs 718#. It requires minimun tractor HP of 30. So I figured I would be in good shape. The mower covers the wheel tracks, so that's good.

Do you guys agree that my Kubota should be powerful enough for this mower.

Thanks much

Thanks for responding but what does "65-rated gearbox mean"? That the mower can handle the tractor?
Yes, you ideally want the gearbox rated higher than your PTO output so you can't inadvertently over load it (the implement, the tractor drive train is expected to be designed to handle all the engine can deliver).
