Hi All,

Does anyone know of a company that makes skid plates for the B2601? I've seen several that make them for the BX series, but can't find anything for the B2601. Working in the woods, I punctured the main hydraulic filter and would rather not go through that drama again.

Thank you

They are worth every penny IMHO. Plus side they are super simple to install! Paul and Kathy are super nice small business folks.

I found this one. Looks like a full plate, but might block the mid pto. ok with me since I dont use my mid pto for anything...

Still on the hunt though.

If that covers both filters, that is a good find and price.

2 years ago I bought a set of the 3 plates made by Specialty Tractor for my B2601 that had never been installed from from a member here and can confirm that they are very nicely manufactured. They are still in the box. I hope one day to install them. Lazy I guess.

Hi all,

Quick update - Tractor Attachments now has the B2601 full skid plates in stock. They probably don't have many of them, so if you want one, better order soon!

At the top of their web page, be sure to select Currency -> USD US Dollar or the pricing will be messed up. Mine came to $290.35 shipped.

Paul,,, aka wildfire when he use to post here,,, will tell you right up front, it is the postage thats the killer, and he aint telling a fib, even shipping to Canada shipping is crazy, I was going to have my friend in the GWN get what I needed and pick it up when I was there.

I've not used tractor attachments before, but they are the only ones with a full skid plate and are much cheaper than the others. Like "skeets" said, its the shipping that kills. On my order, $97 was for shipping!
