Replacement seat and steering wheel

I don't have use of my legs and use a gantry crane and hoist to get myself on my L3301.

I'd like to replace the steering wheel with something smaller and add a spinner know (easier to drop my fat ass into the seat).

I'd also like to put a different seat on it. This one is like riding in a log wagon. I'd like to find something that fits without fabrication (or little fabrication) and is somewhat suspended.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Tisco makes suspension seats. Some are adjustable for the weight of the operator. I had a nice one on an old Ferguson I once had for $100 and adjustable for up to about 220 pounds

This guy is a member on another forum. He too has challenges and is looking for a dished steering wheel to provide him with more room under the wheel in order to get unto the seat. He has a B6000. He posted a list of Kubota tractors which all have the same steering wheel. He is searching for a wheel which would fit the steering shaft splines.

It looks like you could get a quick release steering wheel setup for under $200 if you didn't get anything real fancy. That gets the wheel entirely out of the way. It would probably require an adapter to be fabbed for the QR hub. Maybe the existing hub could be mated to the QR hub? QR hubs run under $150 and wheels are anywhere from $40 up:
