    I did that with the 3 point lift lever on my L3400, when in was not even a week old. The lever was so darn long, that if it was flat on top it could be used as an arm rest!! The way I did mine, since I do not have a welder, is Cut the lever off about half way, overlapped them about 2 inches...

    Thanks Eric.. My gut was telling me to mount it in the middle where the FEL arms attach. Obviously this spot is designed to withstand extreme pressures. I do not have a FEL and do not know how much the buckets are rated for..... Let's just say 750 pounds suspended in front of a tractor...
