Not sure if you've resolved the water separator issue. There is a service bulletin out for this with a fix that can be made under warranty. There's a separate thread somewhere on this forum related to this.

Looking at buying a 2016 M7040. When I look up specs for the M7040, every source indicates it was only manufactured 2007-2013. The dealer offering it for sale insists that it is a 2016. Is there something about Kubota models and years of manufacture I don't understand?
