    Differential lock broken pins?

There’s only a very brief glimpse of the roll pin and it looks like it may have worked out past the inner rod and possibly isn’t doing anything to make a connection and release the lock when in the return position. Worth a look to make sure the inside rod is turning with the outer sleeve.

    Kubota l245dt shifting

Next time you take the cover off check that you didn’t lose any of the balls #8 or the springs #9, they are what keep the fork rods in place so only one at a time should move. If the balls are corroded they may not move between the rods like they’re supposed to.

L245DT leaking fuel under middle delivery valve holder

The undocumented o ring saga continues….they go at the top of the threads not under the copper gasket. As other threads have shown, it’s a great mystery of the kubota world. If you take it apart and they’re there, then I’d put them in(I did). Either way you go, just buy two sets of copper...

L245DT leaking fuel under middle delivery valve holder

Couldn’t find the o-rings on any drawing, local dealer had no idea. They were on the tractor when I bought it(used), this is the size I found after a lot of searching. It’s what I used on my L245DT, still dry.

    L245DT Axle Case Leak

Recently had the axle case a part to replace some bearings, gear, shaft and seal. While prepping to paint it I may have disturbed some rust. I thought the leak was at the gasket where it collected. I removed the wheel for closer inspection and disassembly and the leak is actually at the weld...

BX23s specific significant design flaw/failure point

It always Stinks to have a breakdown, but without a doubt Kubota is a top tier brand. Not specific to Kubota, we all run into those “what were they thinking?” moments. Countless times I’ve had to modify tools, parts, and designs to make them work better. if the new lines come with attached...

Fixing hole in side of block

Joe, It doesn’t look like your cables to the starter are connected right. I can’t see what the (+) is connected to on the bottom, but your (-) should be to ground. If everything is lubed, try this. Connect the (-) cable to the block or starter mounting bolt, then touch the (+) to the stud...

    L245 dt shift forks placement

Here’s pics from when I had mine apart. Forks positions and in neutral. Be sure your detent balls and springs are in place when putting the cover back on. Mine got locked in between gears twice, both times when I was a little too quick between forward and reverse. I learned to take my time...

    Hydraulic hose routing for L275

I have a similar tractor but smaller L245DT with a different valve, the hoses basically run to and from the same places. As tractor was received my hoses are secured to the fender, under the seat and connect from the front side of the block. Always enter from left so they’re not in the way...
