Any idea what caused it? My BX2380 has 168 hours on it and it developed a leak on the rear cover plate as well. Seems like this should not happen. It's due for HST oil change in 30 hous anyway. That's not a cheap fix. So, I guess I need to do the same, pull the 6 bolts and the plate.

I solved this for my situation. I had this same problem. It happened suddenly. There was no gradual anything, nothing abnormal, no strange sounds. The loader, 3 point hitch, PTO all continued to operate normally. But the forward and reverse pedals were "spongy" and would not return to neutral...
