    An old water heater tank filled with cement & chained to the back of a box blade works pretty good. And pretty cheap.

    Had to use a 'torque multiplier' to get the nuts off the blades of my 6' bushog. I can't remember how many times it multiplied the torque, but we still had to use a 6' cheater bar on that.

    I'll second TripleR, check the manual, or call your dealer to make sure. I'm thinking you should run a 4' with no problem, 5' if things are not too thick, but might have to slow down ground speed some.

    Best RPM's for bush hogging

    I use a M7040 with a little 6' bushog. (Want an 8 - 10footer, but haven't found one for that reasonable price yet). I have found @ around 500 rpm on the mower (I think that's around 2k on the engine) it does just as good a job, on a lot less fuel. If I'm in thick or tough stuff I'll power up to...
