    Got the hydraulic plumbed as Torch described, tried jump starting the tractor with a good battery and nothing. Need to trace down the wiring next... Stuff near the bottom of the tractor is suspect. Bushings in the joints of the steering are gone, starting to look like much more of a project...

    Ventilation for a Shipping Container

    If you need to put the container on blocks due to uneven ground be aware that the floors are often wood and can burn in a fire scenario where the leaves and other debris on the ground are burning. I lost about two feet of floor and everything in the container smells of smoke.

    Thanks. This project is mainly a way to focus on something other than the enormity of the project ahead. In our area homes that were well prepared suffered as well as those that weren't. Sadly you can't get all neighbors to agree on anything...

    Took some more pictures today. Put them here: Pictures of L235 with BF400 Loader - Hydraulic Lines The second picture of the valve shows the three hoses (circled) that burned and were connected to the lines leading back toward the pump. Thanks.

    Can I post a link? Sorry about the rotation in this picture... Hydraulic Lines You can see the hoses burned right up to the fittings on the lines. I'm pretty sure these three lines all went to the valve block that controlled the loader functions...
