    Question on B6000 factory ROPS

Hard to say without having a backhoe attachment to look at, but it sounds like there might not be enough legroom by the time you put your legs over the rollbar. And I'm not really sure whether the adapter would be in the road. It might be that the hoe wouldn't even attach up because of that.

    Question on B6000 factory ROPS

Dealer didn't seem concerned at all about me installing my ROPS. Didn't have to sign anything. But then again, I'm not sure the dealer even knew anything about the subsidized ROPS until I bought mine. Neither the dealer nor their rep at Kubota knew I needed an adapter. To top it off, the Kubota...

    Question on B6000 factory ROPS

1/32 off on where the holes were drilled was about max. If it were more than that, I doubt I could have ever got it on there. As it was, I had to hammer it on far enough to get nuts started on the studs and then screw those on to suck it in. If they would have drilled all their holes about 1 or...

    Question on B6000 factory ROPS

You might be right. My dealer was somewhat clueless about ordering this thing. And from what I understand they even went through a rep at Kubota when ordering this ROPS. It wasn't until I couldn't get it to fit and I read this thread that I asked about the adapter. The misaligned holes are so...

    Question on B6000 factory ROPS

Sorry for the delay. I spaced it out... Anyway, it's a bit cramped so I didn't get too great of photos, but maybe they'll be of help. I tried to take some of the 3-point arms hitting the ROPS, but it's a little hard to see that.

    Question on B6000 factory ROPS

Sorry for the delay in responding. I don't have a good photo at the moment, but I'll try to remember to take one. I am contemplating modifying the ROPS to make the 3-point arms lower fully. Though I suspect that voids any kind of warranty there might be on it. Either that or I need to get used...

    Question on B6000 factory ROPS

I just got both the ROPS and the adapter kit. The dealer and their contact at Kubota knew nothing about the adapter. Wasn't until I tried to put the ROPS on that I knew something was missing and this B1401 was the thing. Had to have it shipped across the country, but I have it. A couple things...

    White smoke at high RPM

Thanks. I was worried the video didn't show it very well. It looked to me like the fuel came out about an inch or so before it started to fan out. I'm not sure if that's what it should be doing. Both injectors seemed to have the same pattern. I guess I'll try to find someone that can test them...

    White smoke at high RPM

I am not sure the spray pattern is bad, so I took a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TOrr-gjXEY&feature=youtu.be Any thoughts?

    White smoke at high RPM

It's been awhile, but I finally got around to doing some more testing on my b6000. Here's what I tried. Bought a HF diesel compression tester. Thought I was supposed to turn the engine over about 10 times, but I had to turn it over about 20. One cylinder was a hair under 400 and the other was a...

    Backhoe for B6000

Anyone know if there are any older woods models that would be an easy fit? A new one that might work would be a BH6000, but it's out of my price range.

    Backhoe for B6000

Really? That would have been about the time it was posted to craigslist. I originally tried emailing, then called and left a message. Maybe he sold it and didn't want to deal with people calling any more.

    White smoke at high RPM

Assuming the worst case and that I'd need to spend a bit of money, I was wondering if I could just put a different engine in it and gain a little extra power as well. I'm actually pushing it a bit running the tiller, so a little more power would be nice. What I've read on here is that it's too...

    White smoke at high RPM

I don't know how many hours on the engine. No hour meter on the tractor and I know the engine has been rebuilt at least once.
