Cellular security camera / trail camera for weekend camp..?

I am using the Moultrie Edge 2 to do the same thing - monitor a remote property. I have 6 others that I use for deer season. I have had great results from them and good customer service. Definitely buy the lithium rechargeable battery pack . FYI... there are two sizes of the battery pack - buy...

    Box Blade

I echo many of the arguments above. Keep an eye on FBMP and CL and you'll find one. Decide up front if QH compatibility is important to you and buy accordingly. Buying heavy is also good advice as I have had to add weight to mine to get it to work well in certain situations. Make sure that the...

    Grapple University

All good input. I will almost assuredly be on the lighter side of grapple use on my property. I will not be moving large/long bucked logs or moving boulders. I see it as a easier way to move brush/debris/slash than pushing with the bucket. In an effort to keep weight down and thus preserve lift...

    Grapple University

Thanks for the education on the two top cylinders. I now know they operate independently. Sounds like a good setup but i am guessing that they must be heavier by default. Backhoe will give plenty of ballast out back - around 800lbs

    Grapple University

Thanks to all so far. I am, indeed, concerned about weight of the grapple eating up too much of my lifting capacity. I hear you on the "analysis paralysis" but I just want to make sure that I know the basics so if the right grapple at a decent cost within my budget pops up closeby - I can...

    Grapple University

Ok… before this devolves into a typical thread akin to motor oil preferences and other arcane hijacking, let’s just say that this is a request for generic info on grapples as a whole. Let's also qualify that this is for compact tractors of around 30hp and below (Small Ls, Bs, and BXs) as I feel...

    Rear remotes

Stick with Dan - he'll set you straight. He and many others here helped educate me on hydraulic plumbing and the parts for adding a rear remote (not T&T) and front third function to my B2620 a few months back. I DIY'ed my solution and have around $700 in it.

    Found : 7x16 car Hauler

Agreed. But increased steel prices have driven those $3100 trailers a good bit higher on the lots around me. I am happy with what I got and with the $500-700 savings.

    quick attach 3 point

With a QH looking less and less likely to be in my future - maybe I need to see if there telescoping lift arms available for my Kubota. Could be a useful upgrade It's really only the bush hog that's trouble any more. The FDR1660 has pivoting connections at all 3 points and suspending the box...

    quick attach 3 point

Thanks guys. All food for thought. The extra plates and bushings for the LP floating top link kinda defeats the "quick" part of a QH that let's you stay in the seat while you engage the implement and then take off.

    quick attach 3 point

Not interested in a Pats I am well aware of the difference between the Quick Hitch at the rear and the SSQA at the front. I am quite specifically looking for info on whether a 3pt QH requires all the extra BS parts as demonstrated in the LP video to attach to the floating top link pin.

    quick attach 3 point

Old post ... I know but I have the same question. I am way down the rabbit hole on quick hitches. So rather than making a new thread, I am reviving the old thread that a Google search found. I measured all my implements' pin geometries today so I can bring the data home to analyze. I have a...

    Front axle leaking on tractor?

I just did both sides on my B2620 that had the same symptoms. There are a bunch of youtube vids worth watching to give you the details. Just go slow and be clean and deliberate. Not a hard job at all.
