    B6100D 4x4 - 4' Rotor Tiller?

Keep the RPMs up and pick the gear to suit. PTO in 1st speed. If it bogs down in the lowest gear, clutch in, tiller up, reverse, start again and lower tiller, repeat as necessary. These tractors crawl pretty slow in low range 1st gear, and the 3spd PTO has lots of grunt in 1st speed.

    B6100D 4x4 - 4' Rotor Tiller?

I might have lied looking at the manual for the S850 rototiller the actual tilling dimension is 800mm or just under 32". My statement still stands though, if you go the speed and tilling depth that the tractor is happy with it'll get the job done, even if it takes a couple of passes.

    B6100D 4x4 - 4' Rotor Tiller?

My b6000 runs a 42" rototiller with little issues. Go the speed that the tractor likes for the soil conditions and it'll get the job done.

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

We had talked about getting a dog for here on the farm for a while now that the kids have gotten a bit older. This one just kind of showed up one day... Well not really, but a friend of my nephew was giving her away so she brought her out one afternoon a month ago and we all fell in love. Tato...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finished the garden project. The B6000 performed great! A little slow but it got the job done no problem. Also stole a load of dirt to plant a new apple tree. We've got one that has blossom's for the last few years and we had 1 apple last year but we need 2 make Apple's.

Almost done with the new dirt in the garden. A couple of more chunks still have to thaw.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Spread 5 dump truck loads of dirt onto the garden with the B6000. From this.... To this... Those clumps in the back are still frozen. I'll give it a day or 2 and spread them out then time to put the rototiller on.

Not so new here with a couple of B6000's

No problem digging through the dirt and spreading the piles. Only took 30 minutes tonight after the kids went to bed. A few clumps still frozen but another couple of days they should be good. And then put the rototiller back on and time to plant.

Not so new here with a couple of B6000's

The B6000 is going to get it's first real workout. We took out 2 dump truck loads of old mostly clay out and dumped 5 dump truck loads of fresh black dirt from a dug out that was made last fall onto the wife's garden. It looks like there's lump of hard stuff but it's actually frozen black...

    B6000E missing part question

Well you're in luck because the wiring harness melted together on one of mine and I had to rewire it last year. See my adventures over here... https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/not-so-new-here-with-a-couple-of-b6000s.63470/

    B6000E missing part question

No problem! I've got a couple of these old beasts and have learned a bit about them over the past few years. If you need any more help let me know. The owners, service and parts manual are available from the Kubota books website.

    B6000E missing part question

The inline fuel filter. The Kubota part number is 12581-43012. If you cheap out and get one from Amazon you can have mixed results like me and the plastic can melt.

    B6000E missing part question

Yes that is where an inline fuel filter should be. There should also be a 12v fuel pump on that side below it. And then on the other side below the tank is another filter in a spin on plastic cover.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Used the B6000 to help switch the Husqvarna R322T from winter to summer duty.

Not so new here with a couple of B6000's

Yep, out of curiosity I looked for the closest ethanol free pump and looks like they changed it here in Canada too and it's not sold at the pump anywhere anymore.
