Thanks folks, lots of good suggestions! I had no idea how much of a price premium they have on the electric UTVs which put them out of my range. I may just pick up a used golf cart with a bed and see how that works for us or a used Mule and make a little noise.

listening to my neighbor at 6:30am every day is what inspired the electric route. He is only idling around and not trying to make any noise but his machine breaks the otherwise quiet of the morning

I really need some kind of UTV but I hate making noise. Are there any 4x4 electric golf carts or electric UTVs that I should consider? I see really bad reviews for Kandi America but am curious is there is a viable electric 4x4 machine out there. thx!

Confusion with the framers. The idea was to eliminate blocking since I didn’t want to see a bunch of blocking but when I came home, I had blocking and beams.

Got it. It is already doubled but I can make it a triple and maybe clip 45deg of the bottom outside corner. It would be a pain to replace the beam entirely but the hurricane straps are not on yet...so not impossible.

Meaning, add another 2x10 to support the fly rafters and make it look like an original beam?
