    Moving rotary cutter around. Dolly?

If I could make one improvement I'd make them a little lower to the ground. Ended up changing to a little longer toplink to make for easier on and off. Otherwise very easy to move around! Made one bigger that holds both the box blade and the tiller.

    FDR1660 Belt?

I need to replace the belt on my Landpride FDR1660 finish mower. Landpride belts are around $100. Any good aftermarket kevlar belts that cost less or just bite the bullet. Also, I'd like to get a belt tension gauge so I don't have to rely on the "press with your finger" method if ya'll have any...

    Cleaning Underside of Mower???

Just an unpleasant task with no easy solution. Unless I pressure wash after every mowing session the pressure washer just doesn't do a good job once the grass hardens at all and I have a very good pressure washer. Takes me about 4 hours to mow my place and pretty much a weekly task so by the...

    Cleaning Underside of Mower???

o Is it tricky relaxing pressure on the come along without the mower crashing down?

72" rear discharge mower on B2601?

LP rates nothing larger than a 4 footer for the B2601. I can ASSURE YOU on the B2601 I've had several instances where I almost needed to change my drawers with the 5 foot FDR1660 when I've had to lift on anything other than level ground on my B2601 and I am careful. Plus if you have any slopes...

    Cleaning Underside of Mower???

Thanks and that attachment might make it lot easier and not much effort to wash after every use without having to unhook it and lift it up. Is there any potential area underneath a finish mower where you could cause damage or issues with high pressure water?

72" rear discharge mower on B2601?

NO WAY would I pull a 6' mower behind the B2601. I pull a 5' LP finish mower behind my B2601 and I have to be VERY VERY careful when I lift in on anything other than level ground even with the loader and bucket attached to offset the weight. I'm sure it could turn a 6 footer but that's not the...

    Cleaning Underside of Mower???

Never had the pleasure of using a mid mount mower. Except for the bumpy as all get out and slow ride on the B2601, the 5 foot LP rear finish mower does fine job. Next time I've got $17k spare change in my pocket I'll probably get a 6 foot zero turn. That may be a while though :( My B2601 should...

    Cleaning Underside of Mower???

That is exactly what I do except with chains and the front end loader. I like the idea of a heavy duty paint scraper. Maybe I can find one with an extended handle about the length of a broom. Unfortunately I'm 50 years old with the back of an 80 year old, everything is arduous it seems related...

    Cleaning Underside of Mower???

I've got a nice pressure washer but it had been a few weeks since I cleaned it last and when I hit the underside the other day with the pressure washer it was like concrete and if you hit a clump at the wrong angle it came right back at me. Too much of a hassle to unhook it after 4 hours mowing...

    Cleaning Underside of Mower???

Yep, not a lot of fun and fighting an uphill battle for sure. This may be silly but one person told me to spray non stick cooking spray or something similar on the metal to make it easier to clean and keeps the grass from sticking as bad. I need to figure out something better than a long...

    Cleaning Underside of Mower???

I'm cutting about 5 acres a week with my B2601 and 5' Finish Mower. One of my frustrations has been figuring out the best way to clean the underside of the mower as it cakes up really bad. I try to cut when its dry but you know how that goes. Plans don't always go according to plan. Anybody got...

    B2601 vs L2501

I'm approaching 200 hours on a B2601 I bought fall of 2020. About 90% of those hours has been maintaining a 300 yard "ish" gravel driveway with a box blade and mowing around 4 to 5 acres a week April to October with a FDR1660 five foot finish mower. Is the B2601 a great tractor, YES!! Would I...

    Quick Hitch Selection for L2501

Maybe I should have bought the QH10 instead of the QH15. Unless my Pat's breaks my QH15 has a permanent resting spot up against my barn wall and ALL of my implements except for my carry-all are Land Pride quick hitch compatible but I still prefer the Pat's hands down. My initial reason for...

    Quick Hitch Selection for L2501

Well...........the Pat's is a "half solution" that works TWICE as good for me as my QH15. I don't have the back of a young man anymore and the ease with which I can connect to the pto with the Pat's is night and day better due to better access to the pto. First time I used the Pat's I was able...
