I just remind myself that a small bit with the B2601 is a lot bigger than what I can do with a shovel.

I do wonder if they could make it stronger if it wasn't a "quick" disconnect. I have yet to take the FEL off. Maybe it is really easy to do, my guess is it is still a challenge. I would rather it be a 60 min task I only do once a year if it resulted in a stronger FEL.

That was my thought. Figured I would see if anyone had the same gut reaction or experience. I thought about adding some additional support, but at that point $180 on a new quick hitch seems to make more sense.

Our B2601 (used) came with a landpride quick hitch. It is too wide for our disk harrow. QH is ~29" harrow -s ~27". Is it possible to put longer 3pt Pins on to get an extra 2-3"? Or would this create too much torque/bending at the pin joint. Had the tractor not come with one, we likely would have...

Day one with our B2601 and I made a rookie mistake. Didnt lock the lever up and it got stuck in the ground and bent. Anyone ever bend one back in shape?

We had added a 3rd function to the FEL, rear remote, and rim guard for tires. All together I think that added about $1500. That was for the original new one we had quoted. They were not able to give a real timeline for a new one, so we switched to a used one. Same exact set up, 1 year old...

They are going to do the 50hr service. I actually like the idea of them doing a once over at 50hrs. Still lots of life and even warranty left, but any initial defects should be exposed by now.

At least in Wisconsin new B2601 are on an unknown quality delay. Hard to get a straight answer. Our dealer has a 2019 with 45hours, under warranty for ~$4000 less. Outfitted the same. That might be hard to pass up. Am I missing anything from a 2019 to a new 2021?

The King Kutter 60" harrow has 14" discs. That seems small but would N inch of cutting depth really matter? I doubt I would pull it at 4-5" deep anyway.

What width? I like the ballast.

Intended use is light tilling for food plots and reworking a garden once a year. Soil is relatively sandy, should be easy to work. I think a 5' will be fine, but figure a 4' might give more options if the soil is harder to till than expected.
