I uploaded a photo of the back of the alt you can see the 2 wires and if you look close you can see where the 3rd wire should of been.

Yep for the alternator just need to know if the 3rd wire is hoked up if so to what, if possible to tell. Also if the negative on the battery is hooked to anything other than frame ground. Thanks again R

Hey thanks for the welcome Mickey. Yeah not too worried about the year since they only made for like 2 or 3 years anyway. Hoping it will be a good little workhorse for me once a get a few bugs worked out. Looking forward to start using it this spring.
