So working on my l285. New hoses, new hydraulic pump, new fluid,cleaned filter and took apart the controls for the loaded and cleaned it up. Now I can raise and lower but no curl. When I use the handle ( outside handle for curl see pictures) it makes the hoses jump and wants to kill the engine...

Hi there , found this post and hope you are still on this site. So I have al285 also that’s leaking at the pto. I took off the four bolts of the housing but it will only pull out 1/2 or so. Tried about everything is there something I could be missing. Any help would be much appreciated.

New here and looking for some help. Trying to get the PTO shaft off so i can replace the seal. Ive read where you unbolt the housing and the shaft should pull out. What am I missing mine will only pull out about 1/2 inch or so. Anyone have this problem?
