    BX25D Traveling speed

RPM and transmission fluid are the two major factors. With a hydro trans, you need to make sure your trans fluid is full, clean and has been serviced properly.

Stalling tractor when using posthole digger

I'm running the tractor at about 2000 rpm when using the PHD. It is a PTO driven PHD. I'm using an 8" auger. The question I had is what, if any, damage could I do to the tractor when the PHD corkscrews in and stalls the engine before I have a chance to disengage the PTO. I try to take small...

Stalling tractor when using posthole digger

Have a BX25D with a Countryline post hole digger. Working in some tough ground and more than once the auger corkscrews in and stalls the tractor before I have a chance to disengage. I try and disengage to PTO before it stalls. But more than once the auger corkscrews in, tractor stalls and I...

    Tractor under water

Lots of good advice. I would add - disconnect and remove the battery as one of the first steps.

How far to push the hydraulics

I have a BX25D with a BT601 backhoe. I was digging up some stumps today and it was hard going. I'm digging around the stump as much as possible and a couple of times got the sawzall out to cut a few roots. My question is, how far can you push the hydraulics before you damage something. More than...

During the Meiji period (starting in 1868), coal became a cornerstone of Japan’s industrialization. The country’s main coal reserves were located in Kyūshū, which supported the...

    Air Compressor

I think it will be a challenge to find something that meets your requirements and is that quiet. I think you may want to look into building a sound box for the compressor.

Pallet Forks on a BT601 FEL

Thanks for the responses. For the time being, I'll stick with the trailer behind my small garden tractor. It can carry 10 bales and I don't have to disconnect the backhoe or spend the money for the carryall. They do look nice, just not critical at this point

Pallet Forks on a BT601 FEL

My mistake. It is a LA240. Sounds like the load with the clamp on forks would not be much and I don't do enough with pallet forks to justify converting to SSQA. Thanks.
