I had not used my rear pto for a couple of years and was having the same issue of lever not moving. I sprayed all connections with wd40 then just kept working the lever back and forth and it finally came unstuck. I do agree wd40 is not the best lubrican but in this case it worked

Sound like a good deal to me. I know Skeets has posted about problems he’s had with his b2601 but mine is nine years old has been flawless. I had a bx prior to the b and the b2601 for me was a big improvement

^^^^ plus with a b series you don’t have that goofy little hydro fan to deal with. If you don’t buy a cover protector for the plastic fan it will get broken

I have the 422 as well, hard to tell from the picture but my guess is that looks more like a 3” cut, which is the setting I use.. Have you tried different settings to compare the cuts ?

The drive over decks do eliminate sliding the deck back and forth but you still need to get on your hands and knees to connect attaching points and drive shaft, which for this old man is the reason I went to a dedicated lawnmower
