When I bought my L2800 7 years ago I requested a block heater be installed prior to delivery. Dealer rep said it was not necessary and went as far as to offer in writing that if the tractor failed to start at minus 20C he would come and install a block heater no charge. No heater so far...

I have had an L2800 for several years now, currently has 600 hours on it without a lick of trouble. I rarely see any posts related to the L2800. Is it because it is a rare tractor, or is it that reliable?

I managed to find Rotella synthetic 0W40 at TSC. Didn't know there was such a grade avail.

My L2800 has 250 hours on it, I noticed the presence of large flakes of black gunk in the fuel filter. I guess I'll be draining and cleaning the fuel tank, is there any product I can use to wash the tank out? Thanks in advance, Sparx
