    L2850/BF500 Pressure test question

Thanks Russell, I did peek at that thread and appreciate the response. The L2850 position control adjustment is a little different (or mine was way out of whack) as I wound up shortening the rod to get it back in balance. The amount of unknown things done to my first tractor by 35 years of...

    L2850/BF500 Pressure test question

Not looking to argue, and thanks for filling in the gaps. My apologies for it not being a simple adjustment to me…but it will be simpler next time if there is one. For this model at least, the control arm stopper spec for setting where the relief valve actuates (#4) is well away from the top of...

You may be able to see why I’m interested in knowing where relief valve actuates is….

    L2850/BF500 Pressure test question

Thanks- So just ignore 4, 5, 6 and don’t bother with 7 (and how do I know if float is achieved at bottom of stories anyway)?

    L2850/BF500 Pressure test question

Good morning Dan. I appreciate the input, but “get a manual” not what I’m looking for. The “I don’t have a manual/the manual is clear” statement is a little confusing… It takes only a little research (even just here on OTT) to realize Kubota has a myriad of different position control setups...

    L2850/BF500 Pressure test question

Dan- copy that. I’ve got my head pretty well wrapped around how the position control “teeter totter” works, but am trying everything I can to not have to tear everything off that has to come off to get to that little bugger. I’m thinking I may be having issues because I’m trying to set feedback...

Nothing fancy, but there’s nothing fancy about any of my stuff 😉

    L2850/BF500 Pressure test question

I don’t know what you mean by “would like to have” a problem. I’d like to test my relief valve to know where it’s letting off at. I didn’t bring up that I’m trying to get the position control on my 3PH properly set, as no matter how I adjust the feedback rod, when it hits the top the the supply...

    Best position for bucket hooks

I use mine to chain all sorts of things to bucket, or even use the hank of muletape I keep in toolbox to secure things. Most recently used them to support my el cheapo bolt on forks when I had to unload horse panels by myself that were delivered in stacks of up to 800lbs. Used chains to keep...

Using the drawbar to pull a trailer

I welded a pintle ball to the back plate of the Massey MF18 box that lives on the back of my old L2850. Works great for moving horse trailer and 20ft two axle trailer around property. No pic handy, but can grab one if interested.

    L2850/BF500 Pressure test question

I’m looking to test relief valve and pressure on my L2850 with attached BF500 FEL. I’ve searched the old threads I could find, but have questions: -could I insert a 3000psi test gauge into the quick disconnect between the front hydraulic block and the loader control valve body by using quick...

    Eparts cylinder seal kits?

Good to hear, I got a kit for each cylinder and will be doing them (along with hydraulic hoses) soon.

    Eparts cylinder seal kits?

Thank you sir! Messick, Coleman, and Kubota seem to have disassociated the BF500/550 from the L2850DT’s parts lookup page. it looks like seven parts, and the kit from parts is seven and they look to be the right ones.
