I removed the hood and let the hot sun shine directly on the tank for about 2 hrs. I took my air compressor, wrapped the hose with some rags,took off the cap and stuck it in and put air to the tank and it popped right out!!!!!!
it' not to bad. I tried to heat the tank in the hot sun then tied a small rope around the fuel cap and pull up on it to pop it back up. It did not work. I have had someone suggest I put very hot water in it and then try to pop it up. I am afraid that I might have to take the tank out to do that...
