    B2601 chassis grease points?

My gently used B2601 did not come with an owner's manual. Is there a YouTube video or something similar that shows all the grease points I should hit? The Kubota factory YouTube video does not really show much. TIA, Sid

    Flail for a B2601?

I have been through a lot of that MONSTER thread there. Everything from someone unknowingly using a flail as a tiller to lots of old road crew flails being restored. That is where my desire for a flail largely comes from in addition to what I saw in Europe. Most over there are geared to big...

    Flail for a B2601?

Why do you prefer the rotary mower to the flail? Also, doesn't the flail keep the mower length down so it is easier to navigate in trees?

Labor for rear remote install on L Series

Call around for other quotes! On a barely related issue, I had, moving to Texas I needed a front license plate bracket for my Toyota Tundra. I went to the local dealer and was quoted $62 for the bracket by itself in a plastic bag. MSRP from Toyota was $22, I paid $17 from a dealer in Dallas.

    Flail for a B2601?

I have a nice B2601 with a 60" MMM. I need a brush mower so I don't destroy it. I mow in an orchard and the area between my pipe fence and the road. I encounter heavy weeds, sticks and limbs/roots, beer bottles, etc. that I cannot see from the seat of the tractor. A Kubota 1548 'bush hog' is...

Shredder - Rotary Mower - Bush Hog died!

If I was running the larger frame L, a 5' rotary mower is an easy choice. With the 'Baby B', I'm concerned the 5' mowers would be too heavy and too long. I'm concerned about the mower overwhelming the tractor size not, PTO HP concerns or limitations. My L-4600 has plenty of PTO HP to run an...

Fuel water separation on B-series or L-series?

On my friend's side-by-side, he is obsessive about good preventative maintenance. Water in the air intake or exhaust is extremely unlikely considering how it is used and on the day in question specifically. Condensation on a humid day after shutting down rusting the exhaust ... maybe...

Shredder - Rotary Mower - Bush Hog died!

Our 5' light duty shredder died. What is the better or best medium duty shredder that will work on my B2601? The L4600 is destined to be upgraded so, 6' is too small and 7' is too big for this tractor which has me coming full circle to probably a 4' medium duty shredder that is compatible with...

Fuel water separation on B-series or L-series?

No rain or standing water. The air filter was dry and slightly dusty when he started. The driveway he was on has a pretty good slope and I have never seen water there. In a really hard rain, there is a little run-off in the ditch.

    B2601 grill guard? Which one?

Only with the loader. All the loader equipped tractors have one.

What is a good sprayer for an L4600 or B2601?

I'm looking for a good sprayer that has a reasonable price and reasonable coverage rate for pastures. I am out of my element once you get past a backpack sprayer. I'm seeing a lot of ~40-gallon tanks and ~2.2GPM pumps for ~$350 with 10' booms and 4 nozzles. I have no idea of ground speed for...

Fuel water separation on B-series or L-series?

I have a B2601 and L4600. After my friends Kubota bent connecting rods and blew some injectors, I tend to think there is the potential for water to be part of the problem. This has me thinking about my tractors. I see both have fuel bowls beneath the filter. Will that catch water? On the...

    B2601 grill guard? Which one?

I need to get a grill guard for my B2601. In the pasture and orchard, the hood is taking some abuse from big weeds and small shrubs or tree branches. Is the factory Kubota one a good option? Or, how about some aftermarket options? Or, maybe I should purchase some brackets from Kubota and...
