So here's what has happened. I looked at the fuses, then at the (key switch? directly behind key switch on dash)) and wiggled it as I turned the key and it started. So it will be running for the remainder of day, I'll replace ignition switch.

Thanks for the the reply. I have looked at other tanks available. Though the space in the tractor is a narrow flat slot of about 1 1/2" x 8" in a rather convoluted shape. I'll try the JB weld as Jason has had a positive outcome. I'll give this a shot and get back with the results.

I want to try some JB Weld for marine plastics to repair the leak. The leak is about a 2" slot from rubbing on nearby metal. Thought I would try. Messicks has a tank for about $100. Has anyone experience with repairing plastic with jb weld?

When I bought my BX2230 from the dealer 20 yrs ago, he wanted to fill the back tires with a fluid the name of which I forget. He said you need some weight back there when you use the FEL. I kept thinking If I ever get a flat I didn't want to deal with a fluid leak. It didn't make sense to me...
