Grapple from Skid Steer Attachment Depot.

I don't know what to tell you. It's a Landpride 3rd function kit and loader functions cease if I'm closing the grapple. If I'm holding the button to close the grapple and pull back on the stick to pick up the loader, nothing happens to lift the load until I release the button that closes the...

Grapple from Skid Steer Attachment Depot.

After using the grapple for two days, I have this to say: The grapple is amazing. I can't believe how much it will pick up and how strongly it grips. ....on the other side... The Landpride 3rd function valve disables the loader when you use the grapple. I may have incorrectly assumed this...

    Yep, that'll work:

Grapple from Skid Steer Attachment Depot.

The hydraulic lines on the grapple are way too long and "Made in China", so I may run down to my local hydraulic shop and get some Aeroquip lines set up at the correct length. (I understand the lines are generic lengths for multiple applications)

Grapple from Skid Steer Attachment Depot.

Got it all hooked up in a persistent drizzle this evening. It works great. Very dangerous (in the good way). Don't get near those jaws when closing. Here come the pictures:

I'm planning to install the 3rd function valve in the next couple of hours. I'll post pictures after that.

Grapple from Skid Steer Attachment Depot.

I'll add more pictures as I use it, but here is one from their website. This is exactly what I got, but mine has a metal cover over the cylinder. Otherwise, identical.

Grapple from Skid Steer Attachment Depot.

I just sourced this grapple from skidsteerattachmentdepot.com and wanted to offer my observations. I bought this grapple specifically because it's "Made in USA" and was the best price I could find at $895. I still have to hook up my Landpride 3rd function valve today before I can use it, but I...

Differences Between BX and L. Personal Experience.

Yes. This became a pain in the ass for me. I have been an experienced member of numerous forums where new guys were hassled over minutia. I then told the other members to be more welcoming because diversity make the site better. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I strongly suggest...

Differences Between BX and L. Personal Experience.

In my experience, all the joysticks on the tractors that are larger than the BX or 1 series tractors are mounted on the right side of the steering wheel and not on the right fender. I might be wrong, but I know for sure that this is true on the L2501 and 3025E. And, the point I was making was...

Indeed (and here are the extra characters to get it to post).

    Really annoyed, more dealer headaches

I really hope the next time I get "screwed", that it's for 60 months at 0%. Yep, that's the kind of screwing I want.

Differences Between BX and L. Personal Experience.

The B just doesn't make financial sense. It's more or less the same price as the L and we all know that more is better. I was a little worried about the size of the L on my property, but it's going everywhere I need it to go, so no problem.

Differences Between BX and L. Personal Experience.

The bottom line on my upgrade was loader capacity. I have a very wooded 3.5 acres and have to deal with large trees regularly. The BX picks up 400#. The L picks up 1100#. It matters for what I do. The L is a big tractor for 3.5 acres, but not MY 3.5 acres.
