No, mine has no FEL and it's 2 wheel drive. I am talking about the the three point hitch has no draft. I don't know exactly how many gallons per hour I am using. I am comparing it to my Massey ferguson 231 I had previous to this tractor for 20 years. It burns twice as much fuel.

My L4701F gear drive has had regenerations at 5--25--42--52 hours. It burns 2 times the amount of fuel as my old 1998 Massey Ferguson 231. The gearbox is scary noisy. It weighs a 1000 lbs less. Kinda wish I had spent some money on my 231 and kept it. No draft and no leveling box on lift arm...

My old Massey Ferguson had a leveling box with a crank for leveling the 3 point hitch. Boy do I miss it. Is there an aftermarket one to fit my tractor? The L4701 goes from 15 1/2" closed to 20" open. Has anybody found one that works. I have looked high and low on the the internet to find...

It's a bolt with a lock nut. 15 turns in to get the play out is kind of alarming. I will be letting the dealer know about it.

Movement was back and forth, not up and down. I went back and tightened it some more and got the play out. I had to turn it about 15 turns in.

I tightened the bolt with locknut in front of front axle and it still has alot of play in the front axle. Any suggestions.

I am feeling alot of movement in my front axle. I hear it clunking. I saw a bolt with a lock nut in front of where the axle pivots. Is this where you adjust the play out of it. It is a two wheel drive. Tractor has 43 hrs on it.

Mine did another regen today at 42.5 hours. 2 wheel drive manual with no loader.

My L4701 had 1st generaltion at 5 hours and second one at 25 hours. Got 42 hours on it so far.

I sandblasted my 20 year old Brown 460 bush hog and painted it. I drove up to Ozark Al bought the paint, decal kit, and chain guards for front and back. I have worked the crap out of it. It is absolutely the toughest piece of equipment I have ever owned and now it is good for another 20...

Take the blade bolts off and the wire will come off much easier.
