Saw a really old thread on making step a little stiffer and decided to do myself. Couldnt stand how when my 230lbs stepped on it the whole floor and fender moved a half inch. Prob not an issue but why not. 5/8" rebar and some 1/8" x 1" plate. Super simple and effective. Super solid now.
