    Messicks wins again

Or ask my wife where it is. She would walk right over to it, pick it up, and say "Found it!" (in that annoying "smart ass voice" too) Has happened, hundreds thousands of times......

    My Meager Firewood process

Looks like a tasty cigar my friend! Glad to hear about the safety equipment, and just to bolster the idea of using PPE when using such a tool, here is a pic that my SIL sent me just yesterday. He said that he slipped and it probably would have damaged his foot "real bad" had he only been...

    RPM for bucket

All good advice above! Just in case you did not know, I would like to mention that there is a "detent" position called "float mode" on your FEL. I am relatively sure yours will have it too. If you push the stick forward to what appears to be it's max position and then give it a "little shove...

    Radiator

Depending on your skill level, they are not terribly hard to make. I will eventually make one on the plasma cutter, out of stainless, but this one is still working fine. https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/homemade-brush-guard.61650/

We might be "separated at birth" . I have the exact same gene/dna/problem. I am pretty sure the SSQA would connect up, but like @North Idaho Wolfman pointed out, the weight needs to be considered. Not to derail the thread, but I recently found out that I "need to spend some dough" on a right...

    Oil flush?

Just so you have a reference, this is a pic of my trucks dipstick. 5.9l Cummins with 280K I changed the oil 3 days ago, so it's got about 30 miles on it, and its "blacker than the Ace of Spades." As the others have pointed out, it's perfectly normal.

OK..... Who the heck is responsible for this 3D printer craze??????

Thats very cool and a great idea. I am certainly "on board" with having a 3d printer now that I have started getting better with the CAD software. I'm still struggle a little with CAD, but I'm light years ahead of when I started.

    Firewood bucket recommendations anyone?

I did not get/want the plastic inserts. They were filled with some sort of "Mystery Resin". I don't need to grow a 3rd arm out of my forehead......... :D

    Firewood bucket recommendations anyone?

I use IBC totes with a hole cut in the front to store and move my wood around. I can load one up with more wood than the loader is capable of lifting. However you can't really "dump" it. The tote would slide off the end. They are relatively cheap too. I found a guy in "the Hood" (AKA...

    Back to work

Sounds like a good problem to have sir! I have never tried fly fishing yet. Most of my stuff is either hook and minnow for Yellow Perch, or trolling for Walleye. Around here, lots of people go after the Lake Trout with the occasional Salmon thrown in, but I hate eating those greasy Lakers, so...

    Hydraulic performance fade.

I had a transmission in a car I was working on one time do something kinda similar. It would shift fine until it ran for a few minutes. Then it would start acting up. Turns out, there was so much crap in the pan, that it would take a minute for it all to get sucked up and block the filter...

How do you Keep track of maintenance and repairs.

I write all my stuff on the bottom of one of these. JK....I go by hours for maintenance, and forget about the rest. However, I have recorded the date-place-gallons-miles on odometer-and price of regular gasoline vs. diesel every time I have filled up, ever since I bought the truck new 19...
