Hi Mr. Hodge. Just bought a BX23S and live in Ontario Canada. Have you sent any stabilizers to Canada? Can you tell me what you charge and how you send them? Thanks, Cameron Roach

    Another new BX

I hear you. First thing I did was put on a skid pan from Tractor Attachments in Quebec. Lots of sticks and branches in the woods, they have even come back and poked me from the loader area and the ground. Will have to start wearing hockey shin pads and helmet - or get a cab.

Eliot - same reason I chose the 23S, the backhoe. I use it almost as much as the FEL. Have 15 hours already in a few weeks, and am getting ready to take off the BH to put on the rear snowblower, as we have had snow every day in Nov here in Central Ontario. Did not really look at the B series. I...

    Canadian Supplier of tire chains.

Did you try canadianchains.ca ? Was looking for my new BX23S and they seem to have a large selection, and not heart-stopping expensive like some places. They have studs as well, as I am not sure the new BX80s have much room under the right rear with the loader valve there.

    Another new BX

Thanks for the welcome. Thumb was in the quoted price, and since I do lots of log work, it worked for me. I hear you about the price of the tooth bar, with taxes and shipping it was $400 US, so about 500 cdn. Ouch! But all the reviews on here made it sound like the best thing since sliced bread...

    Another new BX

New BX23S arrived last week, and already have 5 hours on it. Came with the thumb, which is handy, and 51" rear snow blower, which will be handy soon. Ordered a Piranah bar, and got some clamp on forks for the few time I will use them. This site is a great resource and plan on using it lots going...

    Piranah bar to Canada

Thanks for the update on the shipping and customs, etc. I will talk to them this week about getting the tooth bar. I think it will be better than the rake for my purposes - brush, digging and gravel drive. Plus some have said it's good on ice in the winter. I ordered a rear blower, so will be...

    Piranah bar to Canada

That's fast delivery. How are you finding the ratchet rake? I had been looking at it as well as the tooth bar. Looks like you are a good customer for BXpanded! Did they charge you all the fees, or did you have to wait to see what FedEx charged when you got the items?

    Piranah bar to Canada

The joys of living in Canada. I thought that with NAFTA there would be no duty as they are made in the US. I guess broker fees are to tell us that there is no duty.

    Piranah bar to Canada

Thanks Skypros - just saw your message after I posted. Yes, they seem like a good outfit, and no customs to get items in Canada. Looking at their version of a skid plate for the BX. Did you get one for your 23s?

    Piranah bar to Canada

Thanks for the info. I had been looking at a Canadian company called Tractor Attachments who have a tooth bar, but the Piranah gets such rave reviews I may pay the extra for having it come from the US. My BX arrives next week. I have some digging and brush work waiting for it.

    Piranah bar to Canada

Just bought a new BX23s and looking to get a tooth bar from BXpanded. Any other users ordered one from Canada? Any issues with delivery or customs? Ready to pull the trigger but wanted to see if there would be extra costs I did not see coming. Thanks
